M. Islam Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences
M. Islam Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (MIIRS) is a project of the Islam Group of Colleges, established in 2017 to provide quality education in physical therapy and rehabilitation sciences in the private sector. The institute has been affiliated with the University of Sargodha (UOS) for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program since 2018 under Code # 681, with 60 seats allotted by the university, and is included in the compliant institute list of the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC).
MIIRS is situated on a 16-acre campus on G.T. Road, Gujranwala, alongside the 600-bedded M. Islam Teaching Hospital. The campus offers spacious lecture halls, an anatomy museum, fully equipped physiology, biochemistry, pathology & microbiology, kinesiology, electrotherapy and physical therapy practice labs, a computer lab, a central library, an auditorium, a cafeteria, a masjid, separate hostels for boys and girls, and transport facilities.
Our students receive hands-on clinical training at the physiotherapy department of M. Islam Teaching Hospital, which manages approximately 220–250 patients every month. Ward rotations begin from the third year, followed by internship and house job opportunities, so that every graduate leaves MIIRS as a competent, confident and compassionate healthcare professional.
